About Considered Running™

Considered Running™ is a mindful running ethos that prioritises personal growth over performance pressure.

It was born from a desire to reclaim running from the noise of comparison, pace obsession and optimisation culture and bring it back to what matters: the runner, the journey, and the inner work happening beneath the mileage.

Considered Running™ isn’t about running faster or harder, it’s about running with awareness.

It’s about meeting yourself on the road, strengthening resilience in the rain soaked long runs, building quiet confidence through consistency, and recognising that the most meaningful transformation was never just physical.

We still love the gear, the finish lines, the medals and the kudos, but we run for more than metrics.

We run for clarity, confidence, self discovery and growth. Shifting our energetic state.

Through Om Tap Running, this philosophy is brought to life with practical tools including mindfulness meditation, visualisation, journaling and mind-body techniques like Rapid Tapping®, designed to support self-belief, motivation and intentional race preparation.

Considered Running™ makes space for reflection, resilience and becoming someone stronger, wiser and more fully yourself with every mile. It’s not about running softer or harder, it’s about running deeper, with purpose.

BOOK AN INTRO CALL

The Considered Running™ approach:

At the heart of Considered Running™ is the belief that:

  • Running changes your state — emotionally, mentally, energetically

  • Growth happens in reflection, not just repetition

  • Resilience is trained in the moments you want to quit/give up but you don’t

  • Confidence is built through consistency and stepping into your stretch zone, not speed

  • The greatest finish line is internal

Through Om Tap Running, I support runners to:

  • Transform their mindset and energy

  • Build belief using meditation, visualisation, and Rapid Tapping®

  • Reflect with guided journaling and integration prompts

  • Prepare for races with intention, not pressure

  • And most importantly…learn more about themselves through the miles

Speaking, Events and Collaborations

I offer talks, workshops, and guided practices for wellbeing events, corporate team events, community spaces, and creative partnerships. These can be centred around the Om Tap Running tools as described here, or with a Considered Running™ focus which makes them accessible to runners and non runners alike.  Concepts include:

The Considered Mile - a mindful movement practice

A short guided mindful movement ritual that invites participants to treat a walk, jog, or even a moment in the park as a “considered mile” and a space to check in with themselves. Not as exercise, but as mindful recentering. It draws on the same principle as Considered Running: using movement as a mindful way to shift state, process feelings, and reconnect to self.

Key idea: The Considered Mile is not about pace and more about presence, a mindful moment to meet yourself where you are.

The Inner Finish Line - a journaling practice

A short journal based exercise that guides readers to recognise how they’ve already built quiet resilience, mirroring how runners quietly meet themselves, build confidence and grit through running. The focus is on internal milestones, not external success.

Key idea: You don’t need a race to celebrate how far you’ve come, this practice helps you notice the quiet finish lines you’ve already crossed.

Run Your Energy Clear - a state shift practice

A gentle standing or seated practice that mimics the energetic shift of running, releasing stagnant or heavy feelings and bringing clarity. It uses body tapping, Rapid Tapping® and light bouncing (like a pre-run shake-out) to regulate energy and mood. Finishing with a micro self compassion breath.

Key idea: When your mind feels foggy or heavy, you can shift your energy without lacing up your trainers.

Run Gently Toward Yourself — A self compassion practice in motion

A short practice in self-compassion that invites participants to soften their inner critic and speak to themselves like a supportive coach or friend.

Key idea: What if your inner voice sounded like your biggest supporter? This mindful movement helps you practice that in real time.

If you’d like to collaborate or host a Considered Running™ session, I’d love to connect.
